Just bought a nice 93 del sol with a 2000 civic si front end and an integra ls engine in it. Now, most of my friends have some kind of nissan, so im already getting plenty of del slo jokes. got about 1000 dollars to spend, what would be best to drop in it to shut them up?

from looking. i don't know much about nissans. unless they have the specV ser or sporty trim they're engines are .2 less and weigh more...so they might wanna rethink that. just point out that little nugget. if your talking v6 nissans though there isn't much you can do. 1k can't make up that displacement difference.

 

Get a hold of another $2,000.

 

ebay turbo kit and some fine tuning...

lulz. For a grand, about the best you can do is either a nitrous setup or a cheap turbo build.
