Default Battery relocation and venting

So I recently acquired an EP3 and the previous owner relocated the battery to the trunk to make room for the PWJDM intake. He did a very sloppy job and now I am wanting to clean it up. I bought a battery relocation box that seals the battery and vents the gasses outside of the car. My question is, where should I drill in the floor pan to vent the tube to the outside?

where are you mounting the box. Just drill straight down. There is room between the floor and the tank. So don't drill to deep depending where you drill from.

I would like to have it right in the middle, but I can mount it anywhere in the trunk. Right above where the spare would go. I noticed the tank sits closer to the middle of the car, away from the trunk so I think I will be okay drilling back there. I just want to know the easiest and safest area.

Please take picture of said "trunk". Been looking for mine but I keep finding my hatch.

I have the PasswordJDM intake, and I just bought the PasswordJDM battery re-locator for $100. Keeps it in the engine bay where it should be and it's way easier to install, imo.

Here it is:

One downside is you have to use a "mini" battery to fit on the tray. But I have never had any issues with a "mini" battery. :]

I was looking at the PWJDM option, but didn't want to buy the kit and dry cell. The relocation box was much cheaper.

check the power wire that has been run too, i have seen them run under the car very poorly, the one i saw was sagging and you could tell it had hit the ground and rubbed some insulation off.
