question on buying a car

If I was to buy a car that was totaled but I know Is still drivable just got rear ended what is all required to pass the re inspection to re register it? can anyone help me out

is it salvage?

if so id imagine u would have to fix it

and get it inspected by chp

Its just the rear bumper I was wondering what is it chp looks for to see if it would pass

you most likely have to do a brake and lamp inspection. they will want to test turn signals, headlamps, brake lamps, etc..
