Default Trans Solenoids

I have a 2002 Accord, 4 cyl., auto trans. has 140K miles on it. The trans is acting up, shifting 2 to 3rd it revs about 200 rmp then shifts. Also when I take off and if I don't get out of 1st and then slow back down, as it stops the idle seems like it is sort of higher than normal and then clunks and drops idle. I had changed fluid, 3 times, but it didn't help.

Then I pulled the solenoids and the lock up set with the two screen filters, was pretty clogged. It was fine material. I cleaned it and put it back on. The ohm reading was 32.4. On the solenoid that has the linear solenoid the ohm readings were 6.6 on the linear and 6.8 on the other one. Does anyone know what the ohm readings should be on these solenoids. I then test drove it and it still does the same thing.

Also, where do you find what model trans it is. From what I can gather it is baxa or maxa model. I have a sticker on it, witha bar code but it doesn't say either of those model numbers. If I give the VIN to a dealer can they tell which trans is in the car?

I am assuming it will need to be pulled and rebuilt. Any pointers on things to make sure and do when rebuilding it. I pulled my other daughters 97 accord trans and rebuilt it. Not sure how different the 02 accord trans will be different than the 97.

Thanks
Jimmy
