Default 16x8 Wheel Offset on ITR

I'm trying to figure out the best offset for an 8 inch wide wheel on my ITR. I want to run Enkei RPF1's and I found a set 16x8 +32mm offset. I'm going to measure tomorrow, but the online offset calculator says they will stick out 43mm over stock to the outside and 7mm more on the inside. 43mm seems like a lot so i figured that they would rub the finders. I know Sportcar Motion runs the same wheels with 30mm offset on their track R, but from the pics I have seen it looks close and the extra 2mm of offset could be too much.

What do you guys think?

Make sure you rent a fender roller, because you're going to need it. 16x8 +32 is going to be all over your front and rear fenders.

16x8 +38 works much better, but an 8" wide wheel with a properly sized tire is going to cause an Integra issues one way or another, regardless of the offset.

Thanks guys the pic really helped out. Even though my R is a track only car, I think Im going to go with a 7 inch wide wheel and not worry about clearance issues.

Bah +24 offset gives you the same backspacing as oem on an 8" wide wheel.

Do it, it's so nice.

I've run 15x7.5 on my itr with no clearance issues whatsoever

+40 on a 205/50/15

Go that route if you're scared to mod fenders.

I've been there done that on the 16x8s. Im back to a 7" and this is the best size to keep that "lively feel" for our caRs, IMO.

Will fit if you roll your fenders. I run 16x8 30 offset.

Backspacing isn't the problem, though

And yeah, 15x7.5" with a 205 is no problem at all with an offset in the +40/+45 range.

Unless you really, really need that extra tenth, then a 7" wide wheel will work fine for most folks.
