I'm getting this loud shuddering/ vibration from the front of my car when I come to a stop especially in drive thru lines, it only lasts for a few seconds and usually only happens in the morning on my way to work. I'm stumped and need some help.

 

Only when braking?

 

Not while I am braking but when I'm at a complete stop, but the brake pedal and clutch pedal are pushed.

 

Sounds like a low idle problem. Any CEL codes?

Does the CEL work? How did you check for codes?

Any problems while driving?

 

Yes it is stock. Yes the light works when I start my car. I have a scanner at home. No other problems while driving only this intermittently.

 

The noise kind of sounds like if you are putting it in gear and letting out the clutch but not giving it enough gas, the noise when it is trying to stall out.

 

Have you tried cleaning the IACV and adjusting the idle speed?

Manual transmission, right?

 

No but I will when I get home from work.

 

It might also be worth checking whether the EGR valve or chamber is clogged with carbon.
