Hey everyone,
Just wanted to start by introducing myself to the forums. I'm Cody, and I've got a '97 b20b integra with the stock ls trans. I'm new to the honda scene, my experience has been in audi / vw and nissans.


I tried searching briefly, but couldn't find an exact answer. My speedo and coolant temp gauges are not functioning at all. I just got the car, the prev. owner said they both work intermittently, but i've only seen the temp gauge move a few times. Speedo has been stuck on 0 the whole time.
Obv. because I have no speedo, I also have no Odo.

I figured it was probably just the sensors, but I took a speed sensor out of a junkyard teg, and it didnt do anything. I may have not got the whole thing though. I think it was just the clip, it didnt come out of the whole trans. only 2 10mm bolts.


Any help would be appreciated!

The Sensor does come out of the trans. It should just lift right out, try using a pry bar. As for the coolant, check to see if he messed up wiring anything or if anything is un-clipped.

 

Haha yeah, that's what I figured.. I didn't bring a prybar to the junkyard, and my flathead wasn't enough to pop it out.

 

wires seem fine.. any other ideas?
