Default Parking in gear?

I Drive a 6th Gen Civic or Ej8 5 speed y8
and I was wondering.
If You Park into gear like if you park in 3 gear uphill and your car rolls back slowly. Could that mess up timing since your moving the crank backwards ? or can it skip teeths?
I Was just wonder if thats what cause my low idle in hot temps

If your wondering why I can't use e brake its because it's messed up right now don't have time to fix.

It's possible, but as long as the timing belt isn't loose, the timing shouldn't get messed up - even turning the crank backwards. There shouldn't be THAT much slack in the belt to develop rolling back in a forward gear. And given that you have a stock cam with stock pistons I presume, you can be off a few teeth and not have interference - your engine is an interference motor (like most Honda engines) by the way, but there is always some room for error in motors like ours.

Pull the timing cover off and verify though.

How steep of a hill did you park on? lol

I'm Not sure on a angle but its steep enough to make my car roll back in gear lol which means sometimes i have to risk pulling my ebrake. but I say about 10 - 20 Degrees

My timing cover is still on.

Just use your e-brake and the car won't roll back. Keep it in gear in case the e-brake fails.

Why are you parking in 3rd? Park in 1st or reverse. And no parking in gear shouldn't cause any problems.

I don't think it matters what gear i park in? The clutch still grabs the gear? car still rolls back on all the gear

I'll probably replace my ebrake cable weather seal and start using the e brake when it hits spring.

It matters. The higher the gear the less effort it takes to turn the engine over. Try it for yourself, park the car on level ground in 1st, try to push it, now put it in 5th an try the same thing. 1st gear will hold you unless it's a really steep hill. I can't remember the last time I used my parking brake.

Use a lower gear number, and in 1st gear only, the higher the gear, the easier it will be to move because the engine will make less revolutions and hence less pumping force to stop the car from rolling.

Yes the timing belt can skip teeth, but it is not likely on a Honda to due to timing belt geometry. In manual Subaru's the belt is known to skip teeth in transit from the plant to the dealer due to rocking. They later issued a TSB acknowledging the problem and placed a guide plate on top of the crank gear to prevent slippage. All M/T timing belt replacements required the installation of this piece at the dealer.

Idle is computer controlled, unless the Engine Lamp is on, the computer is generally telling your car to idle that low.

Oh, and use the PARKING (NOT E) brake.

Cleaned My IACV but I Think the piston and springs and ect.. inside the IACV is bad so imma get a new IACV

Reason i worried about skipping gear is because i don't have tools or knowledge to do timing. i could do all these other crap but when it comes to any timing job I can't do.....
