brake lights & horn dont work (no cruise)
94 civic ex
brake lights dont work or turn on when i press it or the daytime running lights, my car had cruise but im guessing the previous owner took it off. fuses are all good. heard that it had something to do with cruise module and i dont have that. also my horn doesnt work and its the same fuse or something they say.
need some help.
also my back up fuse doesnt get no voltage to it (the fuse box in the engine bay), could that be another reason too?
and was wondering if i need a cruise control module for it to work?

Sorry, I mean did you "test" the fuse or just eyeball it?
You will need a 12V test light or multimeter to properly test a fuse, or replace the fuse with a new or known working on, [swap it with one the same size from something that does work].
Also test for power at the brake light switch, white/green lead should be 12V+, [hot at all times]. 94

So either a fuse is bad or there is a connection problem between the fuse box and the brake light switch, check all the plugs going to fuse box, unplug them, [one at a time] and inspect the pins, look for corrotion/damaged pins, then replug making sure the plug "locks" into place. 94

cant seem to find the problem..any way to connect the brake lights wires to something to make em work?
Run a jumper lead from the 12V constant, [hot at all times] free-pin on the under dash fuse box to the input of the brake light switch, [temp. fix]. 94
Not exactly, run a wire from the 12V constant "free pin" on the under dash fuse box to the brake light switch, [input side] the output side is green/white, connect to the other wire.94
PS, Again this is a temp. fix, untill you can find the problem.
