pics of new paint and rear window seal question
havnt posted any pics of my project on here yet. just went to buddies house and he has the body mostly sprayed so i thought id throw up some teezer pics. i have 1 question though. the seal that goes around the rear window to fill the gap, is that glued in or is it just held in by compression? i have to replace it and was just wondering. ill be ordering the part from honda this week.
im posting before after and during shots. most likely in no particular order.

The seal wraps around the window. When I got this bucket mine were missing. It's a pain to install these. Mostly tedious. Got mine new off of Ebay cheaper.
do you remember what you searched under on ebay? i just looked around for about 10 minutes and didnt pull any up. ill keep looking but will probably end up ordering from majestic if i dont find one soon.
thanks
what do you think of the color i chose?
adam
Very vibrant color choice. I'm not sure I remember what I used for search term but I can't find any on Ebay either. Maybe I got lucky. Use a lot of soapy water to help you when you install these.
i actually love the way the color came out but its not the same color i picked out. come to find out it was supposed to be sprayed over a dark gray base color and we sprayed it over bright sivler and it changed the color completely. either way i ended up telling then to keep spraying cause i feel its different.
i will definitely try the soapy water. i was also thinking poss silicone spray lube. im just really hoping that its not glued in. this car was mucked with by someone else at some point who didnt really know how to paint or prep. so its got its share of suprises.
