94-98 models can usually be found for $2000 to $4500 depending on condition and extras. They'll last as long as you make 'em last...follow the manufacturer's maintenance intervals and you can see 50K miles or more. Of course that'll go down considerably if you beat on it or race it, but that's to be expected.

Yeah, just to reiterate what was already said I think you can find them for just about as cheap as you want.

'Good' condition with avarege miles would be roughly $3000 I think.

Just sold my 97 f3 for $3500. Had 10K miles, race exhaust, two helmets and a jacket. The bike was almost perfect, but needed tires. Asking price around here is close to $4200 for the same bike. If you wait a little longer, prices will drop drastically.

just so i am clear, you're saying prices will drop cause of winter?

in TX a lot of people (like me) ride almost all year cause of the mild winters...the dealers slow down a LOT in the winter but there are less bargains.

Default Steve.

..you ride a 748, correct? How are your rocker arms; just curious to see how your 4 valve is holding up.

I think steve mentioned earlier that he was already having problems w/ the valvetrain. So Bush is from 'nother country, that explains a lot. What is taiwan?
