F3 mods?
I don't know if this even works, but heard it mentioned before. So don't laugh at me. It sounded odd and unaccomplishable when I heard it but here it goes.
Take the F3 motor out, have it bored, then slap a 9RR head on it. It's "supposed" to produce a decent torque gain. Don't know how much other modifications are needed.
Now the question is How expensive is it and is that what you were looking for?
Easier is to just pull the head, have it milled a couple of thou. and while it's off, buy some Erion race cams and drop those in. Then have it re-jetted.

sounds like it does make sense..... but.... the 9RR bore should be ALOT wider than the f3 right? better do some research cause there is a limit to how much you can bore. and you will need the 9RR pistons. and im not sure of how the air/fuel management works on thoes motorcycles but you would 99% need re-jetting/setting
I bought my bike and had a new pipe put on the same day. You can definately feel a difference. Make sure that the shop that does it knows the particular bike. Jetting wrong can make you lose horse power. I had a Micron full race exhaust. A little loud on the freeway but badass.
Dont get a k&n filter for that bike, it flows worse than stock. just ask anyone at erion.....
You can do the whole exhaust/jetkit but you arent going to see very huge gains. The best thing you can do is make sure it is tuned properly for your elevation, and make sure the suspension settings are optimal for your size.
IT doesnt matter how much horsepower you have unless you can put it to the road and keep it there.
Quiet exhausts rule, my 929 is bone stock right now and i love the quiet hum as compared to my f3 with complete two bros exhaust.....
Invest the spare money into riding gear, trust me you dont want roadrash when the inevitible happens.
