Hey guys its been a while since I've posted but my lease is up in June and I'm considering a CRV as a replacement. I am looking at models 07 and up but will consider 02-06.

From my research it looks as if the 07 plus can only tow 1,500 pounds. I will be towing a boat weighing 2,200-2400 pounds with 2 other adults in the cabin. I am looking for info from anyone who owns a 02+ that tows at or around 1,500.

if you're only towing short distances, it'll tow that boat okay. Highway/long trips could be riskier unless the trailer has brakes.

 

Not sure if the brakes would be able to handle all that weight
