Default temp. and gas gauge not working.

my gas tank is stuck on E and my temperature is stuck on C does anyone know the first thing i should check???
theres a couple wires unplugged near my O2 sensor but idk where they go to. Thanks? its a 89 civic Si.

did this just happen out of no where?
have u recently done anything to the car?
anything else not working right?

check the wire under dizzy for temp senors

yehh i just did a engine swap. okay i got all to work but the temperature gauge it stays on cold. theres a yellow wire with a green stripe under my distributor that i have no clue what it goes to???

it goes on the sensor under the dizzy it is for your temp guage so theres your fix

okay i think i know where it goes.
is it a little nipple thing?? how does the wire connect to it?? all my car has on the head is a little nipple thing and thats it

you did a swap yet dont know how a wire connector goes on?? well it seems as if the temp guage wire is broken aaand the female connector is missing. replace the connector. DONE.

noo actually i found an extra connector from a radio harness and hooked it up and works fine now. thanksss.
