Compression and leak down test: hot or cold engine?

Default Compression and leak down test: hot or cold engine?

So I have heard to do it with a hot engine and a cold engine but want to know once and for all to get the most accurate reading do I need to do these 2 tests on a hot or cold engine?

Ive always read to do a compression test at normal operating temperatures.I don't know about the leak down test.

these are both covered in the facts above in the sticky's.
