Default Pioneer NAV-SYS900DVD

Anyone have it? How do you like it?

Wondering if anyone knows if Eclipse or Alpine makes a similar deck (Navigation, DVD, CD ... all built in).

Thanks,
Jon

Default Re: Pioneer NAV-SYS900DVD (TypeR1558)

I have a IVA-C800 head unit with last years model Alpine DVD navigation system NVA-N851. Works great. Ive tried Clarion's AutoPc, Eclipse's AudioNav Voice Guidance, and have played with a customer's Magellan.

The new color Magellan is the closest I come to picking after the Alpine. I havent yet tried the Pioneer or Kenwood, etc.

The Alpine DVD covers the whole U.S. on one disc, and is very quick. The Magellan is compact and has some features not offered by Alpine.

The AutoPc amazed customers with the ability to recognize your voice commands, but the navigation was mediocre.

Both the Alpine and Clarion AutoPc have amazed customers. I have them in my cars. The AutoPc 310c has been discontinued, but still amazes people.

I love this kind of stuff!!!!!!
