2007 5spd Civic, weird vibration in 1st, and 60k service?
So my car is making a weird vibration when taking off from a dead stop. When I let out the clutch in first and give it gas it shakes pretty bad in the front end its a vibration I can feel in the steering wheel and the floor, it feels like I'm driving over bots-dots. I get the same feeling when going into second its just not as bad....any ideas? ive been told it may be the clutch (I know how to drive a manual and have been for years) or motor mounts. The car has 57k miles and has not been a problem at all.
Also, can someone point me in the correct direction of a list of things I should do for a 60k service? I cant find it in the service manual and cant think of anything I should really pay attention to, maybe the Timing chain?
thanks in advance.

Could be a broken engine mount, could be clutch chatter due to hot spots on the flywheel and pressure plate. Could also be a number of other things.
I'd suggest having a professional check it out.
The timing chain doesn't require any service unless you're having a problem with it. Have you been following the Maintenance Minder system for services up to this point?

if you have been staying on track with the maintenance schedule, you should do oil change, transmission fluid change, replace your air and cabin filter, rotate your tires, and do a general check over your whole car.
like targa250r says...maybe engine mount or clutch chatter, but im leaning more to a bad engine mount.

sounds like something is making a weird axle angle, such as a broken engine mount. clutch chatter is possible but to suddenly pop up...i dunno.
