Default Dizzy/ECU compatibility

well i have an OBD2a b20 that im going to install in to a 89 hatch and ive already done the MPFI conversion and bought a obd0 to 2a dizzy jumper(10 bucks so just got it)

and wanted to know if any other ecus can be used with obd2 besides odb2 ones.

i know OBD0 ecus are out of the question since they have the 16 tooth crank count and the 0bd1 have 24 tooth

but will an obd1 ecu worth with an obd2 dizzy, And i want to use obd2 parts since they are newer.

Yes, you can use an OBD2 dizzy with an OBD1 ECU. just make sure you do the proper harness conversion.
