How to bleed 95 honda prelude shift line?
I have a 95 Honda Prelude S base model am having a problem shifting. I am told if i bleed the line it will fix the problem. Does anyone know how to bleed the clutch line and where is it located? This will be very helpful! It's my daily driver and have this weekend ONLY to fix it

You're gonna need two people. One in the car pushing the clutch, the other opening up the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder just in front of the radiator. You're gonna need an 8mm box wrench to open the bleeder valve DOt 3 brake fluid, a microfiber towel, some kind of cup, an old towel you don't plan on using and a pair of gloves.
Instead of bleeding, assuming the fluid in the clutch master cylinder is dirty(black) you're gonna want to just flush out all the old fluid.
So what you do is this. If you can get a hold of a turkey baster, you will suck as much of the old fluid out of the master cylinder as possible after opening up the lid. This is the small cannister next to the master brake cylinder. Then after getting as much out as u can, you take a microfiber towel and wipe all the dirt up. It doesn't matter that it gets empty at this juncture as you will be pushing all the air out of the system when you bleed out all the old fluid. Then fill it up to the full mark with DOT 3 brake fluid and close the lid. Then crack open the bleeder valve while putting a cup of some sort in the front of it with the old towel essentially below it and covering it up good and have the person in the car push the clutch down by telling them "down" and hold the pedal on the floor. Then close the bleeder valve and tell them "up". They will need to pull the clutch pedal back up. Then open it back up and tell them "down" etc etc. Do this about 4 times then check the level in the master cylinder. DO NOT LET IT GET CLOSE TO EMPTY or you will have to rebleed it. Just keep doing it and refilling it. After a few refills the clean fluid will start coming out and you can stop.
Keep in mind that brake fluid will eat paint and is NOT good for your skin so try to use gloves and keep that towel in a position to catch all the fluid that doesn't get in the cup.
