I'm new to the k series game and was wondering what this might be indicating?
Is it a solenoid problem, oil pressure?! Any help would be appreciated

vtec solenoid, pressure switch or check to see if solenoid is plugged in lol

Check the oil level. Low oil is the number one cause of P1259.

What engine is this? K20A2? K20A3?

It's the k20a2. Oil level is fine I regularly check and change it. I popped the solenoid off and found it was pretty dirty so I cleaned it. No change...

Is VTEC engaging?

Did you remove just the solenoid, or did you remove the entire VTEC spool valve and clean the gasket filter screen?

remember a dirty vtc can cause this too. sensor middle of the timing cover just under the valve cover
