Walbro 255 Fuel Pump Melts Wires?

Has this happened to anybody? I heard a story about this pump drawing so much current vs the stock pump, that it melted the stock wiring harness.

Yes, if the voltage draw is increased, you add a relay. I did this, easy solution

Run thicker wire, 8ga wire would do the trick. And don't for get to relay that ish
