power source for fuel pump
Where is the most readily available power source for the fuel pump? I'm talking about the stock fuel pump. I've seen the instructions on how to wire up the relay, but where do I get the stock pump signal wire from?
You can get stock pump signal from the stock relay, or just tap it directly from the stock pump like I did. It's a yellow wire with a green stripe.
Hey inspyral, where is the stock relay located? And would it be a yellow wire with a green stripe for all hondas? Also, when u tapped it directly from the stock pump, did u just run a wire all the way to the engine bay? Thanks man.

So what exactly is the advantage of hooking up the power source to the fuel pump as opposed to any other switched power source like the ignition for example?

so does that mean that the stock pump shuts off after the initial start up of the engine or does it only run if the engine is running?
Both pumps turn on to prime the fuel system when the key is turned to the ON position, and then turn off. When the engine is started, both pumps are on.
