Default Taking measurements for custom back door intercooler and tucked radiator..got sum Q's

first let me tell you a little about my car. its an 1989 accord coupe. its going to be swap non vtec b series topmount set up.

i took apart the front end to do some measurements for a dual back door intercooler and a ticked radiator.

well, first i did the mock up for the traction bar. its replacing the stock front cross member. it sits about 4 inches further and leave plenty of room for a 3" down pipe.

the tucked radiator will mount to the top of the traction bar. the space i have in between the headlight brackets is 30+" wide., from the top of the traction bar to where the top radiator brace is 12+" high. i have plenty of space to go deep but i was thinking maybe 3". i can go 4 but not sure if that's over kill for a radiator. so my compete measurements for the tucked radiator would be 30x12x3. there is extra space for the fitment, those where the measurements for the core + end caps. not sure where i am going to put the filler cap yet.

i guess my first main question is with those measurements how much should i use for the end caps and how much for the core.

now there a lot more space for the intercooler. since the intercooler will sit under the headlight brackets there is enough space to run it wider then the radiator and have room to run the back door inlet/.outlet. the total measurement space for the intercooler from fram rail to fram rail is 38" wide, so the intercooler will have to be wider than the 30 in wide radiator so the back door inlet/outlet can pass by. my ideas for the intercooler was to have 2.5 inch inlet outlet so i was thinking 4 inch endcaps would leave 30 inches wide for the core, 10 inches high and 3 inches deep.

i am going to take some better pictures so everyone can see what i am working with. i am also going to make some cardboard cutouts to give a better visual.

but i guess my main questions are is a 3 inch core on a radiator good? too much to little?

will 4 inch endcaps on an intercooler leave enough room for me to run the inlet.outlet back door?

here a pic of the car from while ago so u can see what iam talking about the headlight brackets. i removed the rest of the fron radiator suppports so that the fram rails are exposed. it will be reinforced later with the traction bar and a setup that goes around the intercooler/radiator.

here another pic. so the stock cross member will be gone, rrepalced by the traction bar. the traction bar will run accoross there the factory tow hook is.
and where you aee that mottor part of the radiator support, that is gone, that where the intercooler will be.

the intercooler will sit inbetherrm the frame rails but the very back of the intercooler will be at the very end of the fram rail where the radiator support use to be. i am going to fabercate some sheets to cover the frame rail and have supports to hold the intercooler

the opening circle for the traction bar will show u the 3 inches of space the ticked radiator will take. this isent the exact bracket i am using, i am going to have it wemade for it utilizes all the stock bolt holes.

random pic from when i was transporting the car back to the garage.

this is how the old setup was, no more pumper support

Why "tuck" the radiator? That is a rather crucial component of the motor, to have to take your whole front end apart to get to it. Should there be any fixing needed.

once the b series top mount goes in there there not going to be a lot of space up front. tucking the radiator dosent require taking the front end off to service it. the drain will still be on the bottom and there will be an accessible filler neck.

i did end up finding this, may go with this setup.
