Icon3 ITR-GSR Axles Different Part #, PLEASE HELP

I have an 01 GSR with a stock ITR motor (except CTR intake cam) and I keep breaking axles(both) constantly. I do not launch my car or race it and if I get into it I ease into it. Only time there would be in anyway enough to break an axle(unlikely to me w/ stock motor) would be when I hit 2nd.

I had been replacing autozone axles so much I finally said screw it im getting some hasports because i figured the quality would be a little better. They lasted maybe 2 weeks. So now I am going to get some factory remans if possible and if I have to new oem axles.

Everyone says that the ITR-GSR axles are the same, but they have a different part #. Why is that?

Or if someone thinks they may know why I am breaking my axles, other than because the axles are crappy, please enlighten me.

I have been dealing with this for months and months and its really starting to **** me off.

How is this ITR related? You have a GSR with a motor swap.

And I have a feeling you have other issues going on if you keep fragging axles that bad. No one I have heard of goes through that many axles on a stock B-series.

They should be the same axles. When you say they break, what does that? Boots? Shaft? etc.

there the same axles, and yeah you have something else going on if your going through axles that much especially hasport. and yeah as he said ^^ this should be in the integra forum not ITR. are you snapping them? or are they getting all twisted within the boot? maybe your just installing them wrong lol. or your not tightning the axle nut causing them to loosen and slide out til they cause enough vibration to were they snap "break".

GS-R has a rubber vibration damper, ITR doesn't. Otherwise they are the same.

Get better axles... http://www.raxles.com/ I have had my set on my 94 Integra for 7 years of DD and autocross, GSR transmission W/LSD and a 75 shot ZEX system. 94

could be a worn differential...although that usually has them popping out. seriously, i've seen 450whp on slicks on stock axles before. hp isn't the problem, you either have a binding issues, shitty axles or a f'kd diff.

I'm tired of this argument. OP has a hybrid, period. If every douche with an ITR part on their car posted in here this forum would be even sh!ttier than it currently is.

Still a valid question, maybe an ITR owner breaks and axle and finds a good cheap used GS-R axle, this thread answers the question that he/she can find via search.
