Default 4G swap clarification... All invited!

ive seen a lot of questions related to these few topics, so i thought it would be nice for someone to clarify the gray areas here... ive searched, and found differing opinions on the subjects, so everyones input from experience should clear things up indefinitly...

first of all, please limit this ONLY to the 4th Gen accord to avoid confusion; there is already an excellent tech post for the 5g. please note in your response whether you are talking about a usdm or jdm h22, or if it doesnt matter (just in case).

1) THROTTLE CABLE: Can you use the h22 throttle body with the accord throttle cable? if not, can you use the accord throttle body on the h22 intake manifold? if neither, please explain...

2)MAP SENSOR: Can you use the accord MAP sensor off of the accord manifold (unbolt it) and mount it to the firewall and extend the vaccum hose and wires to fit the h22? if not, please explain.

3)FUEL RAIL: on the jdm motor with the fuel opening on the drivers side, what, in your opinion is the best way to fix this, and how did you do it?

4) EXHAUST: ive heard that the accord cat is longer than the lude, making the header/cat fitment not work w/ the accord cat. can you use a usdm prelude cat to fix this, or is the only way around it having a muffler shop custom fit it for you.

5) OBD I/II: if you have a 95- car (OBD I), and a 96+ ecu (OBDII), what exactly is it that MUST be done, and what is it that SHOULD be done. will the harnesses even match? ive also seen an article on making your own obdII to obdI conversion harness (http://www.jdmfan.com/technical/perf...obd1/index.inc). has anyone done this? is it worth it (regarding the difficulty; of course its worth it price-wise)? i know the cheapest ive seen them for is 200$.

well, that's it. please make this a good reference post for any future 4g swappers, i know it will help me a great deal. thanks all!

timmoh timmoh timmoh.....

#1: H22a/h23a1 throttle cable.
#2: Accord map on firewall is cool.
#3: Extend your fuel line using PGM-FI hose. PGM-FI HOSE ONLY y0!
#4: Most peeps chop the prelude header and have the accord flange welded on to fit the accord cat.
#5: Conversion harness with OBD1 ecu works fine.

2)you can use either style of map sensor
3)use the accord fuel rail

this is my input. I would answer the rest but no time....

For me (USDM H22A4 into '92)
1) H22 TB, Accord cable with fiting modified to fit the H.
2) Dunno.
3) H22A1 fuel rail exits the proper side.
4) Greddy 4g Prelude header lined up just fine.
5) Did it the expensive way... P13 ECU, fuel injectors, distributor (external coil) and luckily my car already had a resistor pack for the injectors.

not worth the time and trouble. once you mess with it and soder or cut wires here and there.. had to go back to stock if need to do this and that.. why lay on your back worring bout pins and outlet wires..

I can sell you one for 180 shipped. just need to email me the year and car and what year and kind of ecu your using. its simple plug into and play out of. then if you sell your car or total it. just unplug and go

On a 4th gen, you need to use a prelude map sensor. From what i'm told.
