Default had a little under-dash smoke!!!

hey guys whats up this is my first post and ive done lots of searching and think i have narrowed down my problem but just want to reassure myself with a little expert knowledge.

so i pulled up to work in my dd 93 si (gsr swap),car was running awesome but when i was about to kill the car my knee must have hit something underneath the dash and the was a pop followed by a trace of smoke as if a bare wire had arced and the car died.my headlights still work, door chime still works with the key in the ignition, but when i turn the key to the ON position there are no dash lights,no radio,no fuel pump or anything else that is a keyed power.i looked for burned fuses and found none,no burned wiring under the dash either.so im left thinking that i must have burned up the ignition switch, ive seen others with this problem but nothing that started with a under-dash arc.

thanks in advance for the help guys!!!!!

Its not the ignition switch because you said the car arched. It is obviously something that got overloaded and popped...such as a fuse or compacitor. I would check your fuses with a tested to make sure no resistance is seem....Do you have the fuse cover or at least know where the fuses for the dash lights are. If nothing else....I would trace the Haynes manual in the wiring diagrams to check for a common connection to all the things you mentioned didn't work...it would show you that they all lead to some same location for power. I would assume the fuse would be a big one and may be under the hood and not under dash. I would have to look at my book...but that is the process I would do. There is obviously a common fuse or wire that got messed with in the accident with your knee and the dash.

checked all underdash fuses and everyone was good,i ran out to check under the hood just now and there was a 50amp fuse in the block that was bad,the cover showed it to be the "1G" fuse, any idea what that fuse runs?
