Default civic si dash/starting/stereo

hey guys me again..

okay so after 1 week with my car this girl crashed me. my front left got bashed in. after 5 months without my car i finally got it back. now this is where my question begins..

when i first got my car back it wouldn't start with the key in the ignition while holding the clutch in, i had to jump the starter and would work fine. second my dash and control panel don't light up whatsoever. third i barely found this out today, i tried installing a new stereo and i had absolutely no power through the 12v constant/switch.

ive tried bypassing clutch neutral switch, checked fusses, both under hood and engine bay, used ohm meter as well, im at a total stump.

if i was you. if your reparing it anyways.
take off hood. bumper. fender. and investigate further.
also make sure your battery has full voltage since you stated it wasnt up to par now.
seems as though. jus from reading and pic. theres got to be a wire grounded or pinched with others somewhere. dissasemble will help though

Ok, is it just the lighting that's out or is everything out, like the gauges, climate control, etc?

Like when you turn the ignition switch on does the door chime work, does the interior show any signs of life at all?

Your ground block, check fuses under the dash, check for power from fusebox to headlight plug. Use helms manual to locate the wiring behind the fusebox.

What? Why would you pay for repairs if she was at fault? She or her insurance company must pay for ALL damage if the she was at fault.

no the reason is that i have a court date until 2015 and her insurance company company is denying she was at fault when she took a light and hit me hence why i paid out of pocket but just to fix my car aesthetically.

but thats beside the point,

and i checked it still has the rubber boot on the clutch pedal??

If it wasn't your fault, contact your insurance company to have them cover you or get a lawyer if necessary.

Are you suing the girl's insurance company? If so, your insurance company should cover you in the meantime.

Was a police report taken? If so, did the police fault the girl or you for the accident?

As far as the dash lights go I've seen a few dimmer switches crap out for that issue, when I get home tonight I'll pull the schematics and try to help you out if you have basic electrical troubleshooting skills and a multimeter I'll try to walk you through it. In the mean time turn the lights on and give the switch a few good blows with your palm and see if anything happens.
