pics few exhaust i make
The steps are nice and consistent, with good colour. Just get a bit more filler in those fillet welds, and keep at it. Nice work for sure. Using good tubing goes a long way to finished quality.

That really is gorgeous work. It's really a shame that some of this stuff gets hidden on the underside of the car!
So you just use an abrasive wheel cutoff saw? If so, that is even more impressive to me that you can do such precise work!
What kind of welder do you use?

I hear you, it's just that I often find it difficult to make straight (accurate) cuts with my abrasive wheel cutoff saw. It would be really hard to do work as precise as this with.
Sewing tape goes a long way. The little things make all the difference...

Yea, all it takes is a few spins around the belt sander to clean up any material from the cut off saw. Ours has a straight edge backstop as well as a fixture to hold the tubing at an angle, it came with the saw but was too small to reliably hold material 3" or larger so I modified the jaws and it works like a charm. I've never had an issue with cuts being untrue.
Gives you a straight line to mark and cut with any tool.
