Touch-up paint tips
Any suggestions on the best way to apply touch-up paint. I've got some mean battle scars on the front bumper which are a little to much to look at all the time. I've heard people say not to use the brush in the little bottle, but rather apply small amounts of paint using the tip of a paper clip or something. Any info would be appreciated, I don't want the touch up to look blotchy or anything. Thanks guys....
Bumpers are a wear item, they'll only end up chipped again.
I wouldn't even bother with the touchup paint.
Repaint the front bumper if it bothers you enough, but other than that leave it.

fill the scratches till they're level with the good paint then wet sand with like 2000 grit auto sandpaper, polish with some rubbing compound then wax.
The tough part is matching the paint...
anyone else?

I'm gonna eventually respray the whole front end and buy a new lip and cover it up with a bra every now and then.
I wouldn't mind the scars if they were just little knicks and scratches, but one is a nice gouge about the size of a dime and to the metal. I'm thinking of going to get an estimate on just having the bumper resprayed...winters right around the corner and I don't want the metal showing turning into rust

Don't worry about it... I'm asuming you still have the clearcoat on yours... treat it right as it is.
Most of my clearcoat has peeled or is pitted.
