Default eg/dc struts on da problem

i put some rear eg/dc tokicos on my da with the same tein lowering springs i already had and it lifted up the back up like 3 inches. i also took off my lca's so i could grease up the bushings. so what did i do wrong when i put everything back together? my lca's arent swapped around.

never heard of this happening. are the springs for a DA or for an EG/DC? did they come with the shocks?

thats really weird because DC rear shocks are generally like an inch shorter than DA shocks. i have the same setup on my DA with Tokico Blues

sway bar bolted up? top hats bolted all the way down? maybe the springs just need to re-settle themselves

yea the sway bar is bolted up. the top hats arent tightened all the way and neither are the shocks but this shouldnt cause a 3 inch lift. shorter struts should lower my car right? i pushed down on the back of the car like 10 times and it still didnt go down

tighten up the top hats. make sure the springs are sitting correctly in their cups, and check to see if you over tightened the lca bolts.

i actually put some rsr lowerin springs on my da but they were for a dc. and i took it out and tried mounting it to the da sturt and didnt fit...so u need to make sure ur coil and strut are the same ...u need a dc coil.....i had to do the entire conversion on mines both front and rear cuz the da coils slightly smaller and doesnt really mount the cup right....
