Hey guys,
Benn having some issues with my b swap. We swapped my mpfi converted d15 harness onto the b18, but used the battery cable off the b18 harness. I'm not sure if my wiring of the fuse/ground wires on the battery cable are wrong or what, but the car wont start or turn over. I was told that this swap would be "easy" and it would "drop right in" but there seem to be a couple things that "they" forgot to mention!
But I can't wait to drive it so any help you could offer would be great!

sounds like you didnt attach the ground wire to the trans. the negative battery cable should go from the neg post to the chassis then to the top of the trans near the clutch cable. this grounds the trans allowing the starter to work

 

I agree with Hatchet Honda.. check your ground wire connectivity. Otherwise, I would be looking at that mpfi swapped harness as the next culprit..

We fixed my battery cable but now when yyou put the key on and turn it to run theres a rapid ticking noise from the dash and all the lights are flickering, as well as the light on the ecu. The started is turning over but the negine doesnt start even with quick-start sprayed into the throttle body yeeuh
