HEY JUST PICKED UP THIS 1991 HONDA CIVIC EX 4DR FOR $150
THE PREVIOUS OWNER WASNT TAKING CARE OF IT SO I TOOK IT
OFF HIS HANDS
I STARTED STRIPPING IT AS OF 1/30/2011
AND THIS IS HOW IT LOOK AS OF TODAY
1. STARTED SANDING DOWN THE PRIMER THAT THE KIDS SPRAYED OVER THE
PEELING CLEAR COAT(LOL)
2.ORDERED THE NEW QUARTER PANELS, B SERIES MOTORS-SHIFT LINKAGE-OBD0 2 OBD1 JUMPER HARENESS, AMBER CORNERS, AMBER SIDE MAKERS
3.STRIPPED THE FRONT END AND TRUNK TO MAKE IT EASIER TO SAND DOWN
4.BOUGHT THE ROTA RB'S OFF A FRIEND OF MINE IN MINT CONDITION
5.BEGAN ON MY WIRE TUCK WHICH I DONE BEFORE SO ITS A PIECE OF CAKE LOL

IM A TAKE MORE PICS AS SOON AS I GET MY CAMERA BACK FROM REPAIR
SO FAR THIS IS HOW IT SITS, LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINKS CAN USE SOME IDEAS TO

OH P.S. THIS CAR HAS 113,324 ORIGINAL MILES ON IT PLUS ITS (EX)

 

looks like a straight shell. curious to see whats in store for this sedan. i love them

working on the engine bay
and decide to go single cam v instead bseries

 

got a long way to go but taken it easy im not in a rush

finishing gutting the engine bay
then repainted it using dupli-color spray can paint
came out really good tomorrow gonna hit it up w/ clear

Nice progress! I plan to tear apart my 91 Civic Si down the road in a similar manner. I did it to my 95 VX and it was nice to see how clean you can get a car when you do it!
