Default FS: Brand New JVC KD-SH77

Hey..

i had ordered this deck last month from the US, and it took a month to get here, due to customs etc. I got tired of waiting so i purchased another deck, and I have this jvc kd-sh77 that just arrived today. Its brand new, unopened, and i have the proof of purchase for it. this is a great deck. i bought the kd-sh99, one model up because i had sold my old deck, and i didn't have tunes in the car. for a price comparison, here is the model lower, the kd-sh55 selling for $350 atfutureshop.
After taxes and customs fees, i ended up paying a bit over $400 for it, and i;m looking to recover as much as i possibly can. so no low ballers pls.

Here are the specs pasted from JVC's website:

The KD-SH77 is JVC's new high performance All Aluminum CD Receiver with a hot new motorized faceplate, and DVD/CD Changer Control. It features pre-amp outputs, 200watt amplifier, iEQ 3 band parametric eq with 9 preset EQ patterns, and 3 user programmable presets. An all new HS-IIIi tuner with intelligent tuning automatically switches for optimal tuning at any frequency. Added convenience is provided with a card-type remote, CD-R/CD-RW compatibility, and CD Text Capability

CD Text for CD Player and Changer
CD player feature that displays a CD's title, the song title, and the artist's name from specially encode discs.

SSM (for FM)
(Strong Station Memory) Automatically stores the six strongest stations on the tuning dial for automatic station presets.

AFNS/PNC
(Automatic FM Noise Suppressor) Reduces high frequency noise using a high-cut filter.

Motor-driven Detachable faceplate
Many of JVC's Mobile receivers provide an extra level of security by permitting the removal of the front control panel. This feature allows you take the controls with you when you leave your vehicle.

i believe the sh909 and sh707 have different specs compared to the sh99 and the sh77

the sh909's and 707's arent as good as the 77 and the 99. i;m at school now, but i;ll post up links of the difference in specs when i get home.

fyi...the sh707 retails for $258.

i;ve never had any trouble waranteeing stuff from them...

from anywhere from my old tape head unit, to my home stereo systems.
i guess it just depends on your individual experience...but i personally havent heard any cons to their warranty policies.
