Power door lock issue and potential electrical issue?
I have a 99 LS coupe.
My power door locks do not work. They all work manually though. I checked the fuses under my dash and the fuses next to the battery. Both fuses are good.
If I use my key in any of the 3 locks, the power locks still do not work.
What else can I check to get this issue fixed?
Another problem that I came across was during the past snow storm (Philly, PA). I was driving home in about 10-12 inches of snow. My car bottomed out on the snow (Car isn't even lowered). When it got stuck, and I reved the motor to try to pull out of the snow, all of my electronics went out for a second then would come back on. The motor ran without a hitch though, just the electrical components went out inside the car. This occured twice during my 2 hour/5 mile trek home. Both occured when my car became stuck and I attempted to get out.
The passenger side PNP ballast (I run E55 projectors) also went out for the remainder of the night. The following day everything was normal with no electrical issues except for the lackof power door locks.
Temp gauge remained normal, but the hood of my car was unusually hot. Could it have been from the front of my car being clogged with snow and the bottom side buried in snow?
