Camber kits. What're you using?
I realize this may have been covered with threads like "which camber kit is best y0!" or "I need help deciding a camber kit"
I'm curious how you guys/gals are liking/disliking your camber kit, I.E Skunk2, Ingalls, Progress, Ebay etc...
I'm in the market for one. I have 5.5* of camber up front
DA knuckles and tucking tire up front is not so good for camber lol.
Input?

I have an Ingalls kit in my 1991 Si. Here are my complaints:
1) The nickel-plating (chrome) is cheap, and as with all chrome, it will eventually crack or flake leaving exposed metal that will eventually corrode and doesn't look pretty if you're really **** about the showmanship of your wheel well (just being honest).
2) The body of each camber piece will eventually begin to ream out from the bolt. I have 218k on my car, but have no idea how long this kit has been on the vehicle. I can only account for what I am encountering at this juncture.
3) Adjustment on the Ingalls kit is not the most simplistic design. After viewing the Skunk 2 kit (front), I was rather impressed with their piece, especially for ease of adjustment. The price is also only $10 more than the OEM replacement upper control arm with ball joint. I have no experience directly with the Skunk 2 product, but will suffice that it will be my next purchase when that time arrives to replace the current Ingalls kit.
Hope this information helps.

Call Jeff "Kiwi" at Specialprojectsms.com , they should have the new Hardrace Camber kits in already, if not, soon.
The hardrace kits are a lot beefier than any other kit I've seen. The bolts on there are fatties.

They're finally making for ef/crx SWEEET, start saving up lol. I have a cheapass godspeed kit. I would only recommend if you have some sort of toe/camber issue that you want straighten out. 30$ plus 50$ for an alignment and it works, been on for about 3k miles. Good for a cheap fix.
i am running ebay front and back with no clearance problems at all on my EF hatch i have 15x8 +12 offset and no rubbing.. so far so good. ill post more if i run into any problems.

I ran a couple of sets of ebay camber kits in the past. they are good for about a year the until the bushing give out. I put my stock shocks back on riding with stock up and lower control arms.
Kind of off topic, but can any of you guys snap some pictures of your front UCA's? I think I have mine on backwards
The one picture up there is fine, I just wanna see more just in case.

Jack your vehicle up to allow the suspension to reach its full travel. Remove your wheels. With a flashlight, look at the top portion of the UCA. It should be stamped with an "L" for left or an "R" for right. There is also a stamp on the brace, but that will be much more difficult to see without removing the coil spring assembly.
I have Skunk2 in the front. No name in the back. I have what I consider to be a modest drop on my car.. (can still stick a finger or two between tire/fender) and my Skunk2 kit is already slammed as far out as it can go.. I thought I would have way more room to play with if I ever wanted to go lower.. Again I consider my drop MODEST compared to what I have seen and even to where I want to be.. so what do I do when I want to go lower but retain my correct camber? No quality complaints.. but I feel restricted.
im sitting at i think 22.5" or 21.5" from the ground (to center of headlight). 1/2 above the legal limit and i still have plenty of play with my front S2 UCA.
No one has mentioned Specialty Products Company, I had their stuff years ago. I drove by for months before I realized that I worked next to them.

I'm running revo technica on mine. They where ok on the street(on the car for about a year). I did have to do a very minimal amount of trimming on the fender well joint, and my car is by no means slammed.
Now that I've been road racing it...the ball joints don't last longer than one race. I've heard good things about the skunk2s.

Skunk2 f/r here, no problems really... I just wish the fronts were easier to adjust on an alignment machine. On the rear you just adjust the bolt, on the front the ball joint slides into whatever random position it's in when you tighten it down. I think a front UCA, like this one Endyn is using on his GrandSport, would be great:

(sorry for the size, it's borrowed!)
IIRC, those rear Skunks you have are on upside-down.

i use to run spc camber kits in the front and they did not leave any wear on my tires but they were poorly made since i had to grind them to fit and the bushings took a crap...im not using any camber kit now and my tires are still going good and this is on a 2.50F and 2.25R drop...!!!
