Obd1 vs obd2 Alternator Bracket

Obd1 vs obd2 Alternator Bracket
Is there a difference in the alternator brackets...either the top or the bottom bracket in an obd1 vs obd2 motor. I know the alternators are different but are the brackets different. Reason I ask is b\c I have an obd2 motor and am putting an obd1 alternator on the motor but it doesn't seem like the holes line up to the bracket.....
If it is different I'll just probably cut the wire from the obd2 harness and wire it into to the obd1 harness.
