im trying to figure out what alternator i need to run i have my d15b2 alternator but noticed the teeth were different what alternators would fit and work for this blcok? and i have mpfi done so im thinking ill use that intake manifold and fuel rail and dizzy and ecu

 

I'm using the alternator/belt off my old D16A6. It is thinner than what the Y7 uses but works fine. Everything else is pretty straightforward. You will need to extend the temp sensor wires, and probably rig something for the lower rad hose as it connects at a different angle to the block. At least this was the case on mine.

 

just get the pulley switched i just did this swap last week and **** me it was horrible

like 45 mins if widbey island means like oak harbor area, what about the driver side mount do i take the 1 off the b2 block? i modified my mount to make it work

 

Yep you take the driver side mount off the old block. I even grinded mine down a bit because it sits much closer to the timing belt but that might just be paranoia...
