EATS throw out bearings and clutches..snacks on hub bearings...quick lil f**kers when they are in motion tho.. Owned A Neon ACR...never again my friend...import all the way. plenty of 4 dr Teggys, WRXs, Mitsus for the picking **** grab a 4 dr CIVIC FTW!!!!

Subi and evos are way out of my budget, srt4s just seem like the most bang for the buck but I guess I just wanna kno are they reliable I kno third gear likes to go out...

 

i have an 04 srt thats on a 30r and an 02 wrx with simple bolt ons. I DD i love the wrx and put it through hell. I live on country roads that don't get get plowed and i drive 30 miles to work 7 days a week. My car has 125k on it and runs great. I really like them but yes the trans are weak and the up pipe is stupid lol

The srt on the other hand is a ****ing blast. Having a car that can handle 500hp on the stock block for under 10g's is hard to come about and being said it was the fastest car under 21k. There very unappreciated in the tuner world and even the muscle scene but most people have never driven them, just seen the stupid high schoolers who think there the fastest things in the world with em. Being said i think you should go out and drive ANY of your choices. I love cars that are a REAL drivers car. The srt was that for me. It was built 20 mins from my house and it was one of the last cars that has no traction control or stupid electronics, just a real drivers car.
any car you pick would be awesome. IMO wrx is a better dd because of awd and how reliable subarus are but the srt have never broke down EVER and always seems to put a smile on my face.

Coool! Ya I kno a couple highschool kids like that mommy and daddy buy them evos or srt4s and they give them a bad image but I wanna find a srt4! For like 7 grand

my professor worked for the company that built the transmissions for these cars. The transmission used in these is based on a 4 speed transmission chrysler has been using since the 70s. by based i mean that they use alot of the same internals and specifications. Also the transmissions where only desinged to hold around 240ft lbs of torque. so good luck with that

 

How much are you looking to spend? 02+ wrx's can run from $8,000+ and really worth it.
