96 ek ebrake removal help
hey i have a complete ebrake that i want to swap into my 96 ek but idk how to remove my old e brake....its not the handle, but the entire e brake i want to replace....any help with be very helpfull thank you

And you gotta remove the arm rest column. And if i remember on my Ej there were 2 bolts holding it down and a ebrake light switch connector and you gotta remove the cable from the handle. then go to the rear wheel depending on what kind of brakes you have im assuming its Drum. you gotta dissemble the whole drum set up to remove the cable.
But that's what i remember from my Ej. Please correct or add info if I'm wrong.

As long as it's not anything overly steep just put the car in 1st or reverse and it wont roll. Chalk the wheels if your worried.
