Default Diagnosis Help Needed! Window motor

Installed new front door speakers. after putting it back together the passenger window wouldn't roll up.

Check for power - I am getting voltage to the motor connector using the master switch and passenger door switch. so I at this point it seems like I have a bad motor ... but I've never seen window motors suddenly crap out like that. It was fully functional just a few minutes prior.

So I apply direct power to the motor and it works ???? I am able to operate the window up and down but for some reason the vehicle cannot.

I am stumped. so far this system tests out okay.

I need wiring diagrams. Need to check my harness continuity. Anybody gots?

You have a bad ground in the harness going to the door. The wire is probably just cut slightly, it's very common on these cars, I fixed a ton of them. Pull back the rubber cover on both door looms and check for damaged/broken wires, you won't even need the wiring diagram you can just repair them one at a time (there will most likely be a few that are damaged).
