NEW! Automatic Transmission fluid from HONDA
Honda has replaced the ATF - Z1 with ATF - DW1 permanently.. for all the maintenance freaks like myself go out and get yourself some! I snagged 10 quarts.
Maybe sooner than you think.....I stopped by dealer in Houston to get more Z-1 for my 2nd drain/fill, found out about the new fluid at that time, and was lucky enough to get the last 3 quarts of Z-1 they had in stock. With their new DW-1 already out on the shelves, that's it, since they CANNOT BE MIXED, "there can be only one...." (hehe). So you need to do a full flush when switching from Z-1 to DW-1, as dealer stated.
Word is that the reformulated fluid is definitely better than the older one, and even though they say its backwards compatible, we shall see..........
