Default 1997 Civic LX D16y7 Won't start has spark and fuel

Hi it's been really cold here got to -29 degrees at one point and my car ran fine whenever i would start it just to warm it up the car didnt move for the past week and when i went out yesterday to drive the car it started and immediately died on me when i try to start it it cranks and tries to start but will not when i give it gas it sounds a little different but than it just keeps cranking i checked all 4 spark plugs and all get spark checked the fuel rail and it sprays fuel the distributor cap is good i checked that and cleaned off the little terminals now im stumped i went to my local honda dealer and i asked them they said one of the things could be the fuel injectors and they said to replace them would be over 800 dollars i laughed in my head thought might as well get a swap with that money but also it was said it could be water in my fuel system so i was planning on draining the whole fuel system and put fresh gas in it i also was goign to do a compression test tomorrow it was too cold today and i was tired of messing with my car

any ideas i was thinking it could be the main relay like it was in my integra but i could not get on the ground to take a look at it
thanks

Car is a 1997 Honda Civic LX

Just curious.. How did you determine the car is getting spark?

One of the only other things i could think of is check all your grounds. (ECU ground as well)

Any CEL codes?

Was spark bright white at the plugs? If so, check the mechanical timing to see whether the timing belt skipped a tooth or two.

took out the plug and put it in the wire held it to the VC while someone else cranked it and yes the spark was white, didn't get a chance to see CEL yet i will test that tomorrow and get back at you, and i will check timing if it has been skipped or not, timing has been done on the car 5k miles ago if it helps any

Battery test it too. Might have juice to run electronic but doesn't mean it has juice to give starter working full power. Or since it's SubZero temps over there maybe had little water in fuel line and froze the fuel line? take it to a heated garage with a tow truck and see if it starts. Don't do the ghetto blow drier trick.

The battery was fine its actually pretty new, anyway i figured it out, what i did was i drained added 91 Premium gas from Shell to my tank and added some Heet i added BG44K before but it only treats 75 gallons of gas and i'm pretty sure it was a really long time ago since I added it, Heet removes water from the lines and cleans the fuel injectors, thats the first thing i did than i checked the last fuel injector if it was getting power witha little bulb tester and it did so i decided to put some NGK G-Power plugs into it cause my Bosch plugs were getting a bit dirty even though i changed them 5k miles ago when i did all the major maintnace, than i cleaned out my sparkplug wires with compressed air just to be sure they were not wet... drained the coolant and put new coolant in yesterday i noticed my oil was really really low so i put in more oil into the engine cranked that sucker and it started on the first try without any hesitation thank you guys for helping me figure it out!
