vss on tranny?
ok l looped my ps line on vss cuz l have swapped in accord. well when l did my bracket the vss is bolted to basically moves around easily and will pull up and out with ease. ive looked around for a missing bolt but dont see one. is it maybe a bad seal that goes around it? l dont know l havent taken it out
Probably means the mounting tab that extends off the VSS is broken. I have had quite a few break on me before. I have tried using JB weld on it with no success and ultimately ended up making my own bracket and used zip-ties. If the VSS is not secured it can have a tendency to push out of engagement b/c of how the gears are cut on the bottom.

Your making it harder than it has to be, use the VSS that was already in your car not the one that went to another car. When I swapped transmissions I didn't keep the one from the CL1 as it had nowhere to hook the power steering lines to.
Well I sold the original motor/trans so dont have. Its not the plastic tabs on side off vss its the actually metal bracket the vss screws into and hoses connect to thats loose. That has tabs? I figured it was a rubber seal maybe or bolted onto tranny. Whats the easy way or correct way to fix this?
