Default 1987 Civic Si Hatchback Dash Lights (LED Conversion)

I'm looking to convert my dash and A/C controls to LED bulbs. I was curious if anyone knew what kind of bulbs are back there, how many of them there are, and how do I get to them?

And as the title says, I have a 1987 Honda Civic Si Hatchback 3 Door.

take one out, measure it, head to digikey to find a similar size 12v LED.
Get to soldering.

And I'm assuming you lose your dimmer control.

Check this site

http://www.superbrightleds.com/

As for the dimmer, you need to use a special dimmer.

There is another website that sells bulbs, dimmer and strips of LED in various colors... need to find the bookmark latter.

I think LEDs would be a little to bright. Any reason why you would want to do that?

Yeah I've heard of superbright before. I haven't ever used them yet, just used eBay and have enjoyed them. I've thought about doing the WLED-x5 behind the dash if they are 194 bulbs which I'm betting they are.

And @jdmda7,
I mainly want to do it to make them brighter. The bulbs on the car currently hardly shine at all and are very dim. Plus I've seen quite a few dashes with blue LEDs and they look pretty sick.

LEDs won't be too bright at all.. get a lot of 5mm leds, some resistors and get to sodering.. I've done it on numerous cars.. also the dimmer still works like stock
