Is the countershaft that came with the ATS 4.9 kit, the same as the JDM 4.7 countershaft?

Meaning i can use the ATS 4.9 ring gear with my existing JDM 4.7 countershaft?

I tried searching but the ATS threads didn't have what i wanted to know. Thanks in advance for any clarification.

 

Nope. You need the ATS countershaft. It is $494 + $48 shipping for a new one (this is from a roughly year old email from PPI). If you need to order one I'll PM you their contact info.

 

Well figured as much. Thank you for the answer. Saved me from buying one with a broken countershaft tooth.
