There's a guy selling a CF hood for a really good deal...but he says it's from a 96-00.

If I decided to pick it up, I don't have a truck so I'd be taking my hood off...driving about an hour...putting the hood on and coming home.

He's not sure if it's a 96-98 or 99-00. Quickest way I can think of is the measurement of the flat piece between the grill and headlight. I have a 2000...so if somebody with a 96-98 doesn't mind could you just measure between the headlight and grill on that flat piece so I can ask him more specifically with measurements so I don't waste alot of time or effort.

I got 34 inches from light to light and 24.5 inches right above the grill on my 96

Check the gap from the head light to the grill, 96-98 is about 4.5"
99-00 will be smaller.

 

^ Yeah that's the one I need...headlight to grill like he said should be around 4-5 inches. If anyone could give me an exact on 96-98 that would be awesome. Thanks for the input so far.

I said about becuase it could be easy to measure 4.4- 4.6"

^ He hasn't sent a pic...it's garaunteed brand new though...seibon for about 150.

I can't pass that up if it's the right year...it's not stolen either...my friends dad owns a body shop and it's old stock from one of his shops they're trying to get rid of or something...but I live about an hour from where I used to so it would be a drive and he has no camera phone or else I'd tell him to take pics. I figured if I sent him measurements he could reply pretty quick and I'd get an easy way to tell.
