Default Honda/Acura Shift ****

Some help from some friends...

Does anyone know what the part number is of this shift ****?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA...#ht_3066wt_940

Sorry to pull an eBay link out. Every time there is a part number listed on an eBay item I seem to be able to source it cheaper from the dealer/direct. This seller was smart and didn't list the part number.

Can't seem to find this thing anywhere though, I know its stupid, and prolly only adds 3hp, but I HAVE to have this!!!...Would you pay 60 for a shift ****?

Thanks BFF's!

It's an accessory ****. It's basically the same as the ITR / CTR ****, but without the ridiculous price tag.

Great info.
This should fit a pre-98 JDM ITR shifter, correct?

Thanks,

-Walter

That's correct. I don't think Honda has ever made a different thread pitch for their shifters. Honda / Acura shift ***** are so interchangeable it's ridiculous.

^ Yeah...I have a **** that looks just like an 06 ctr **** but it doesn't fit on my shifter...still trying to figure that out. Screws on for a couple of threads then a dead stop.

Good to know about OPs **** though.

There's a big difference between looks like and IS a ctr ****. Are you sure it's OEM Honda? I've never heard of **** A not fitting shifter B.

Hard to tell from the pic. As far as I'm aware the thread pitch is the same on old / new / Honda / Acura.

I guess it depends on the source, there are definitely alot of "style" ***** that might not fit the same.

Yeah...lame...I don't even want/need it I just want to sell it but I'm not going to sell something I'm not sure of...I guess I'll have to find a friend with an 06 and test it out...and post a pic of the bottom and see if it's legit. I bought a skunk2 dual bend short-shifter and it came on it? Not fitting well on it of course.

Guys... I just wanted to follow up.
I bought the **** the OP mentioned and it fits perfectly.
I really like it, thanks for the cool idea. This was on an ITR shifter btw.
