I work for Flatout Motorsports, we're a race and street shop in Bellingham MA, specializing in Mazdas and Hondas. We compete in the Grand Am Continental Tire Challenge as well as a ton of SCCA club racing with out arrive and drive customers.
Flatout is known for the build quality of our race cars, so I figured I would share our most recent build with you guys! Everything is done in house except paint, which is done by Tom at Precision Motorsports in Milford, MA.
This newest build is a 99 Miata being prepped to run in SCCA's Spec Miata series.
Unfortunately I didnt get a chance to snap pictures of the car when we first got it since I was with the team racing Grand Am in Daytona this past weekend. But its very early on so we havent missed out on much. The car has just started to be stripped down, and today I got the fenders rolled.

We have a spec miata that we built here and we have raced with your team.
We have the Canton Racing Miata.
Props to the build. Your shop is the best for spec miata stuff.

Mike made alot of progress on the car today. The interior, drivetrain and suspension are all out of the car. The doors are also gutted to make room for the door bars.

We also got all the tubing in for the cage plus some extra for future projects

Yea just let me know. The owners of the company know the guys who run your place. They used to race and what not.
You guys do the best miata work on the east coast.

It is the only sensible place to mount them honestly. They are close to the respective units, and the pumps are mounted directly above in the trunk. Keeping the lines short and tidy was a bigger concern for us than exhaust heat.

Not much new on the build other than we got the sound deadening out with the help of some dry ice. Now we just need to use some solvent to get rid of the residue.
