did a mpfi swap ideals good has d15b7 gets fuel runs great just stop hard or turn sharp dies an sometimes after 65 it bogs down a little put new injecters gutted cat converter new spark plugs car has 4 to 2 aftermarket headers . any help would b much appricated .also the car didnt run when i got it someone tried to do the moter swap an failed but i went back over everything an got it running

 

pump dying and/or sucking air.
put a pressure gauge on it

 

how could it b sucking air ? should i get a new fuel pump if so should i get a upgraded fuel pump ?

 

I couldn't tell you anything 100% about a civic with this. My car was originally carbed and I am having to build a baffle for the same thing. But DPFI... I dunno for sure.

 

ok how do i hook a preasure gage to it an what should it be reading yea mine was dpfi an i changed it to mpfi wanna just get a si harness

 

what bout the filter do u think it would help or no

 

Possible.. sudden stopping causing all the junk in it to block the flow. Might as well replace it especially if you don't know how many miles are on it.

 

yea want a aem one but they are so high can u get oem one at a local parts store

it's never the fuel filter. people love to change them like snake oil fixes.
