My 98 civic dx has been idleing high in the morning. It's been between 1500-2000rpm. Is that normal in weather that only gets down to 30 at the least. I live in the desert in so cal on the Colorado river. If it's not normal what could it be. It gets better after it gets hot.

 

yes thats pretty normal, it idles that high because the engine is warming itself up quicker
